Northside Baptist Church-Interim Music Minister- part time/ temporary

Northside Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, is seeking an experienced and spiritually grounded Interim Worship Minister to provide steady, week-to-week leadership for our worship ministry during a time of transition. This part-time, temporary role focuses on essential elements of planning and leading Sunday worship, coordinating with volunteer musicians and tech teams and ensuring meaningful, Christ-centered services each week. The Interim Worship Minister will lead rehearsals, select music in collaboration with the pastor, guide Sunday morning worship, and communicate clear service flow to all involved. This position is ideal for someone who is musically gifted, organized, and able to support the congregation through consistent, thoughtful worship leadership while the church searches for a long-term candidate.

Essential Duties for the Interim

Lead Wednesday night rehearsals (praise team)
Lead Sunday morning rehearsals (warm-ups, sound checks, service flow)
Lead Sunday morning worship (vocally and/or instrumentally)
Select songs weekly in collaboration with the pastor
Coordinate with volunteers (band, vocal team, tech)
Communicate weekly service order (music, cues, transitions)

Pastoral Ministry Internship (Valley View Baptist Church)

This internship is a program designed to encourage and equip men who aspire to serve in vocational ministry. This 12-week program provides first-hand experience, feedback, and instruction to a man who is pursuing pastoral ministry as God’s calling on his life.

REQUIREMENTS

▢ Professed faith in Christ and been baptized
▢ Member in good standing of local church
▢ Aspire to serve Christ in pastoral ministry
▢ Cultivating character qualities seen 1 Tim 3 and Titus 1
▢ Strong work ethic and teachable spirit
▢ Agree with Baptist Faith & Message (2000) & Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy

RESPONSIBILITIES

▢ Work 25 hours/wk (including 10-15 on site, including Sundays & Wednesdays)
▢ Meet weekly with pastoral staff, having completed all assigned reading prior
▢ Plan and prepare studies/sermons
▢ Attend various church meetings (e.g., Members Meeting, Church Council, Deacons, etc.)
▢ Lead at least one Bible Study and preach one sermon during this program
▢ Fulfill other related duties as assigned by the pastor

COMPENSATION

▢ $3,000 ($250/wk for 12 weeks) flat salary (reported on W-2)
▢ no healthcare, retirement, or any other additional benefits

Pleasant Grove- Hodgenville Part time Music Leader

PART-TIME MUSIC LEADER WANTED: Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hodgenville, Kentucky is seeking a part-time Music Leader to help lead our congregation in Christ-honoring, traditional church music. We are a growing, old-fashioned Baptist church that believes in Bible preaching, Bible teaching, soul winning, and keeping Christ at the center of everything we do. Our music style is traditional and energetic, with an emphasis on:

• Southern Gospel
• Bluegrass Gospel
• Traditional hymns
• Old-fashioned congregational singing
• Special music that complements the preaching and worship of the churchWe are not a contemporary worship church and are not looking to move in that direction. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves traditional church music and can help build a strong, enthusiastic music ministry around that philosophy. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry, work well with people, be dependable, and be comfortable leading congregational singing and coordinating special music. Instrumental ability—especially piano, guitar, or similar instruments—is a plus but not necessarily required. This is more than simply leading a few songs on Sunday. We would love to find someone who wants to become part of the Pleasant Grove family and help us build something for the Lord.
